SiriusXM and Live Nation have announced Alt Nation’s first Advanced Placement Tour of 2018, featuring Australian trio Mansionair, Louisiana native and Interscope Records artist Mikky Ekko and German recording artist and composer NoMBe.

The 18-city North American tour is the fourth outing curated by SiriusXM’s Alt Nation and will kick off April 10 at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre.

The alternative and indie rock format satellite radio station helped launch Mansionair’s “Astronaut (Something About Your Love)” and last summer NoMBe’s “Freak Like Me” was named an “Alt Nation Critical Cut.” The channel has also been a strong, early supporter of Mikky Ekko’s single “I’m Not the One.” All three artists have been featured regularly on Alt Nation’s new music show Advanced Placement, which can be heard Thursdays at 3 pm EST.

“This year’s Advanced Placement tour continues SiriusXM’s tradition of showcasing new artists and gives music lovers the chance to connect with one another and the bands they’ve discovered on SiriusXM,” said Jeff Regan, senior director music programming & music initiatives for SiriusXM and Advanced Placement's host in a statement to Billboard.

SiriusXM listeners will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour before they go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 2. The SiriusXM Presale will start on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time and will end on Thursday at 10 p.m. local time in each tour market. Listeners can access the SiriusXM Presale by visiting www.siriusxm.com/advancedplacementtour and using the password ALTNATION.
