Interscope Geffen A&M announced Wednesday (Feb. 14) that Nicole Wyskoarko is joining the company as executive vp of urban operations, a newly created position. She will report to Interscope Geffen A&M Chairman and CEO John Janick.
“Nicole brings a tremendous breadth of experience to Interscope, having worked both inside and outside record companies over the course of her career,” said Janick in a statement. “We are always looking ahead to see what will position us best in a business that’s rapidly changing. Nicole joining the company in this new role does exactly that; she’s here to help wherever and whenever she’s needed.”
Wyskoarko is a veteran industry attorney who has worked with clients such as Meek Mill and DJ Mustard as a partner at Carroll, Guido & Groffman, LLP. She previoulsy worked at UMG after graduating from law school, rising to senior vp of business & legal affairs for Island, Def Jam and Republic, serving such clients as Kanye West, Alessia Cara and Justin Bieber.
