98 Degrees bandmates and real-life brothers Nick and Drew Lachey gave it a good go as bar owners, but sadly their hometown sports bar is closing up shop. The pair announced that Lachey's, located in the city's burgeoning Brooklyn-esque Over-The-Rhine neighborhood will close down on Sunday (Feb. 11) after three years in business.

The singers and reality show stars announced the sad news in a tweet sent out on Monday (Feb. 5) in which they wrote, "We regret to inform everyone that Lachey's will be closing its doors after Sunday, February 11th. This week will be our last week of operations. Party with Nick and Drew at Lachey's one last time this weekend as a final farewell!"

One of the Lachey's partners, Bob Deck of 4EG, told Cincinnati.com that the reason for the bar closing down came down to dollars and cents. "Lachey’s was always packed for sports but unfortunately it couldn’t survive on that business alone," he said. " It’s always been a struggle to generate lunch business over there as well." The sports bar packed with big-screen TVs was located near the former site of the city's legendary School for the Creative and Performing Arts, which the brothers both attended. It offered such signature menu items as The Tot or Fy Bowl (with Lachey's signature ketchup), OTR Chili, Hair of the Dog Burger and The Hat Trick (beer cheese, spinach dip, buffalo dip and tortilla chips).

The bar was the subject of the 2015 A&E reality show Lachey's Bar. Lachey posted a sweet message about the bar closing featuring a picture of his kids holding up a customized menu.
