DuFine will lead programming and booking efforts for AEG Facilities.

AEG Facilities has hired concert industry veteran Dana DuFine to serve as the company's VP of content development.

“I am beyond excited for this opportunity to be working so closely with all of the talented GMs and bookers throughout AEG's organization," DuFine tells Billboard

DuFine will serve as the lead content booker and programmer for AEG's large network of facilities in both North America and around the globe. In March 2016, DuFine left her post as senior VP/head of West Coast operations of MSG Entertainment, where she booked the Forum in Los Angeles, a key competitor to AEG's flagship arena Staples Center. DuFine joined MSGE in 2014, was based in Los Angeles and also oversaw bookings for Madison Square Garden.

"The content/booking possibilities are endless from city to city, coast to coast and around the globe. I look forward to effectively working together with all of the remarkable promoters, agents, and of course the very talented artists and their managers, to make sure they get the most out of every show they play in every AEG Facilities venue around the world," she says. "I look forward to being a part of the AEG family and contributing to this amazing company which continues to grow."

Prior to MSG, DuFine worked with Irving Azoff's Frontline management company and oversaw the careers of Stone Temple Pilots and iconic frontman Scott Weiland, as well as U.S. alternative rock band Everclear. She also spent time working at Immortal Records/Virgin EMI.

"Dana came on board a couple of weeks ago," Chuck Steedman, chief operating officer of AEG Facilities tells Billboard. DuFine will be working with Chris Wright, who manages Coliseum & Oracle Arena in Oakland, California for AEG Facilities and currently oversees content development.

"They're working hand-in-hand with the agencies, managers and promoters and Dana will be spending a lot of time directly with our venues and regional offices for both AEG Presents and Live Nation," Steedman said.

After leaving the MSGE in 2016, DuFine spent some time working with the Los Angeles Rams, which had just relocated to the city. She credits Lee Zeidman, President of Staples Center, Microsoft Theater and L.A. Live as being instrumental in helping her land the position.

"We ultimately wanted Dana to come with us because the depth of her background across all levels of live entertainment," Steedman said. "She certainly has booking experience from her time at the Forum, but she's also got deep relationships with both talent and the agencies, and that's why we think this is a great pairing for us. We think she is an absolute win-win."
