Paradigm Announces 'A Positive Spin' Shows in L.A. and NYC


Proceeds to Benefit Inner-City Arts and Lower Eastside Girls Club

Paradigm Talent Agency, Goldenvoice, and The Bowery Presents have partnered together to present A Positive Spin 2017, a pair of concerts benefiting inner-city youth in both New York and Los Angeles. 

Tickets go on sale Friday, (Oct. 27) at 10 a.m. local time. All proceeds will go to Inner-City Arts in Los Angeles and The Lower Eastside Girls Club in New York.

The Los Angeles show includes A.O.E., Falcons, Grandson, GG Magree, Hoodboi, Nosaj Thing (DJ set) and Promnite and takes place Dec. 6 at El Rey Theatre. The New York show takes place a day later (Dec. 7) at the Music Hall of Williamsburg witha lineup that includes Craze, Ezi, Flor De Toloache, The Knocks (DJ set), Michael Blume, Nick Catchdubs and Wrabel.

A Positive Spin began in 2014 as a DJ workshop for at-risk youth in Los Angeles. It has since evolved into an annual benefit concert held in Los Angeles. To date, A Positive Spin has raised almost $20,000 for Inner-City Arts. This is the project's first year expanding to New York.

In addition to ticket sales, a raffle will be held, as well as a food drive to benefit Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Food Bank for New York City, with a request for two non-perishable food items to enter the drawing.
