-- Live Nation Canada appoints Ken Craig vice president of the company's newly added Ottowa, Ontario office. Previously, Craig was a long-term senior contract producer for Live Nation as well as an independent promoter and producer based in Ottowa.

-- Jeff Toig becomes the third chief executive in two years to depart Tidal, Jay Z's music streaming service. Previously, Toig held a two-year tenure as chief business officer at Soundcloud.

-- Dariel Abramowitz joins Carleen Donovan’s DPR as senior director of publicity. Abramowitz formerly served as manager of publicity at Columbia Records and brings ten years of experience to the company. The public relations firm represents a diverse roster of music artists including Adam Levine and Maroon 5, The Roots, Lil Wayne, Old Dominion, Lenny Kravitz and Damian Marley, as well as clients from film, television, design and fashion.

-- David Corey returns home to Boston after more than a decade in Canada to join Beasley Media Group, Inc. as the new program director of Country WKLB. The move comes after Corey's resignation from his position as vice president of radio programming at Bell Media in Toronto, where he managed the programming of 105 radio stations for more than a decade. Corey succeeds Mike Brophey, who announced his retirement on May 31. 

-- Former Warner/Chappell Music head of finance, Kate Alderton, accepts a promotion to UK finance director.

-- BMG welcomes German media lawyer Ama Walton as senior vice president of business and legal affairs as well as general counsel in Europe. In her new role based out of Berlin, Walton will be BMG's most senior lawyer in Europe, responsible for all legal issues relating to BMG shareholder Bertelsmann. Walton hails from independent German film company Constantin Film, where she served as co-managing director.

-- Performance rights organization ASCAP gains Tony Dunaif as executive vice president and head of international affairs, where he will lead the organization's international team. His hire comes on the heels of Elizabeth Rodda's recent promotion to vice president of international affairs.

-- After spending decades as a producer, presenter and tour DJ for the likes of Jay Z and Rihanna, Capital XTRA DJ Manny Norté joins Polydor, where he will work with the company's urban department across A&R, marketing and promotions.
