-- Former vp of corporate strategy and international development at Pandora, Will Jackson, is joining Vevo as the company's senior vice president of strategy and operations. 

-- Alastair Kinross has been appointed senior A&R manager at Sony/ATV Music Publishing (UK). 

-- Fender Musical Instruments Corporation announced Richard McDonald’s new leadership role as chief product strategist. Fender also named Justin Norvell executive vp, Fender Brand after 20 years with the company.

-- MTV has named Amani Duncan as senior vp of music. She previously was vp of band marketing for C.F. Martin & Co., Inc.  

-- Richard Conlon joined SoundExchange as chief external affairs officer. In his new role, Conlon will be overseeing the company’s corporate communications, industry relations and public policy forces. 

-- Veteran Shelly Sumpter Gillyard has been promoted to executive vp of talent, music and events at Nickelodeon Group.

-- Comma Music has hired Alison Lieber as creative advisor, business development for film and TV in Los Angeles. She will serve as a mediator for Comma's music production library. Comma also welcomed Amanda August and Matteo Neri as composers. 

-- IHEARTCOMIX and Caroline have joined together in a distribution partnership for IHC 1FINITY, IHEARTCOMIX's label.
