The 21-year-old recently cracked the top 25 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart with “Gold,” her debut single.

Primary Wave Music Publishing has added Kiiara to its roster.

The independent music publisher has signed the hotly-tipped newcomer to a worldwide co-publishing and administration deal ahead of the release later this year of her debut full-length album.

"I'm really excited to be a part of the Primary Wave family. It’s crazy to think that I’m going to be a part of their incredible roster!" says Kiiara in a statement. "As a songwriter, to work with a company who believes in you and really lets you keep your vision and artistic integrity in check is really a cool thing, and I look forward to this partnership."

Kiiara, who is signed to Atlantic Records, made waves in 2016 with her six-track debut EP, low kii savage, and its lead single "Gold," which cracked the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. The track has been streamed more than 350 million times.

Justin Shukat, president of Primary Wave Music Publishing, describes his company’s new signing as “not only an incredible performer, with an instantly recognizable vocal tone but a very talented songwriter who will be a great addition to our ever growing roster of contemporary creatives.”

This year is shaping as a game-changer in this early phase of Kiiara’s career. She’s currently recording with Cirkut, Martin Garrix and MAG, she’ll support the Chainsmokers on their sold out national arena tour and she’s booked to perform at Coachella.
