Kristian Davis-Downs, the former head of operations at Beggars Group, has launched a new music services company called MonoKrome Music. The firm offers white label and backend services for labels, artists and managers, including data asset management, physical manufacturing, publishing, distribution and royalties.

On its newly launched website, MonoKrome says, "We provide clarity and guidance in an often confusing, highly specialised landscape by demystifying 'old school' music industry processes and practices." In short, they "take away the operational stuff that can be a real drag on your time."

MonoKrome has partnerships already in place with U.K. music industry bodies BPI and AIM, as well as online store Bleep, music platform Musikki and holding company Proper, among others.

Davis-Downs spent nearly 12 years at Martin Mills' Beggars Group, rising to head of operations before departing in August 2015. Before launching MonoKrome, he worked as a label manager at Naim Records, indie home of Eska and Yazz Ahmed.
