Executive Turntable: New Hires at Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, PPL, Sony Music Entertainment & More

Fred Mangione

-- Live Nation Entertainment named Lisa Licht Chief Marketing Officer of the U.S. Concerts division. She will oversee a portfolio that includes concert and corporate marketing and report directly to Bob Roux, Co-President, North America Concerts.

-- Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment has hired Fred Mangione as its first-ever Chief of Staff. Mangione has been with BSE for 16 years, and held the previous position of Chief Operating Officer since 2014. 

-- Nicola Spokes has been appointed as UK Label Head of Caroline International. Previously, she spent the last 15 years at Ministry of Sound as Marketing Director.

-- Roxanne de Bastion and David Stopps have joined both the Performer and Main Board of PPL, a UK music licensing firm.

-- Leo Corson has joined the Contemporary music department of APA’s Concerts division. Corson started his own agency in 2007, and most recently was an agent at Circle Talent Agency.

-- SRI Label Group will distribute the Legends of Sound series of recordings, which come from four music industry legends: Tony Bonjovi, Charles Calello, Dan Jordan Florio and Rob Roy. Additionally, SRI has added the Calello Music Group catalog, from Charles Calello, to its label group as well. 

-- Entertainment One has appointed Ted May to the newly-created role of Director, UK Music. With over two decades of experience, May most recently held the position of Senior International Marketing Manager at Universal Music UK.

-- Knitting Factory Entertainment has announced new hires as well as a promotion. Toby Pazner joins the company's management division, Knitting Factory Management; Barry Berkowitz has been hired as VP Business Development; Paul Bacher will take on the role of junior talent buyer for Knitting Factory Brooklyn, part of the company's Knitting Factory Presents division. Dave Poe has been promoted from the position of talent buyer to senior talent buyer (East Coast).

-- Andre Stapleton has been promoted to the role of SVP/Digital Partner Development for Sony Music Entertainment.
