Alliance Entertainment has completed its acquisition of ANconnect from Anderson Merchandisers, which means it will now be stocking Walmart and Best Buy with music product. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Alliance Entertainment was already the dominant wholesaler in the music business, with about $700 million in music and video sales. ANconnect will bring another $350 million in sales from its Walmart and Best Buy accounts, bringing the company roughly $1 billion in annual revenue.

"ANC sells and merchandises some of the finest retailers in the United States, through brick-and-mortar and direct-to-customer websites,” AEC CEO Jeff Walker said in a statement. As part of the deal, many AEC employees will join the AEC team, although the deal will consolidate warehousing at AEC’s Sheperdsville, Ky. distribution center.
