Google Play Music devotees on the web and Android devices have a new way to find and listen to their favorite podcasts. Starting today, users in the U.S. and Canada will see an easy-to-navigate podcast section in Google Play’s sandwich menu.

"We'll connect you with podcasts based on what you're doing, how you're feeling and what you're interested in," the company said in its announcement. "Similar to our contextual playlists for music, we want to make it easy to find the right podcast -- whether you're a podcast aficionado or listening for the first time."

For listeners who don’t need any advice, the podcast section features a prominent search bar and various popularity charts based on categories. Current top podcasts across all genres include The Joe Rogan Experience, The Bill Simmons Podcast, Radiolab, WTF and Stuff You Should Know, among others.

For podcasters looking to "sell" their wares on Google Play, there's a publishers portal that should come in handy.
