Ed Sheeran, riding high after taking home two Grammy Awards for his single "Thinking Out Loud" (Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year), has signed with Creative Arts Agency for global representation outside of the U.S. and Canada. In those areas, he will continue to be represented by Paradigm.

Sheeran follows his agent Jon Ollier to CAA, after Ollier left Free Trade Agency last year. His latest tour, an exhaustive 179-date worldwide jaunt, wrapped recently and contributed to Sheeran being honored with the Breakthrough Artist award at the Billboard Touring Conference and Awards last November.

Sheeran's sophomore album, x, was certified double platinum with two million sales in the U.S. in February. Last December, he hinted in an Instagram post announcing his departure from social media that his third solo album was on the way, calling it "the best thing I have made thus far."
