Citing demand, Paris concert hall L'Olympia has announced a new series of late-night events called "Olympia-By-Night." The Vivendi-owned venue said the inaugural event will take place April 2 and feature American electronic music duo Odesza, among other acts, as part of a festival co-hosted by production agency Allo Floride and online video channel TheSoundYouNeed.

Video of the festival will be available on Vivendi's video sharing site, Dailymotion. If you can make it, tickets will be available on pre-sale on Thursday, Jan. 28. Organizers say additional Olympia-By-Night event will be announced soon.

"The Olympia-By-Night events will be an opportunity to enlarge L'Olympia's audience to new generations," said Simon Gillham, chairman of L'Olympia, which hosted 180-plus concert events in 2014. "By doing so, we also follow on a long-standing tradition of innovation for our concert hall, which has always been in tune with its time."

Parisians 'Culturally Resist' as Post-Attack Live Business Rebounds Across France

The Olympia’s extended hours is a good sign for Paris’ concert industry, which saw a roughly 80 percent drop in attendance in the immediate aftermath of the Nov. 13 terror attacks, but has since recovered.
