-- Steven Tyler joined the NMPA SONGS Foundation’s Board of Directors. Tyler joins Kara DioGuardi, Jewel and Lee Thomas Miller, Craig Balsam of Razor & Tie Records and Golnar Khosrowshahi of Reservoir Media Management along with foundation president David Israelite.
-- Eventbrite appointed Joel Crouch as its first ever general manager for U.K. and Ireland. Crouch, who will be based in the firm’s London office and will report to vp of strategy Randy Befumo, has more than 15 years experience working with companies including Google, EMC, and Lanyon.
-- Primary Talent appointed Paul McQueen as one of its agents. McQueen was previously based in Glasgow and worked for Elastic Agency. He brings with him a roster of acts including The Jillionaire, Walshy Fire, DJ Sliink, The Partysquad and Branko.
-- Jörn Radloff, an exec with German collecting society GEMA, was appointed head of rightsholder management for ICE Services.
-- 7digital appointed Paul McGowan as non-executive director of the company. McGowan founded retail restructuring group Hilco UK in 2000 in a joint venture with Hilco, where he currently serves as chief executive of the company. He is also currently the chairman of HMV as well as Denby Pottery Group in the UK and the KRAUS Flooring group in Canada.
ABKCO Music & Records, Inc. elevated Alisa Coleman to COO, rising from her role as Senior Executive Vice President. ABKCO also named Christopher Libenson senior vice president and William Pittenger director of business affairs.
