Westwood One will continue to use Nielsen BDSradio for measuring streaming, airplay and sales data across its Cumulus stations and syndicated programming. The company announced the multi-year extension with Nielsen this week.

Charles Steinhauer, Westwood One's COO, said "The power of our platform, our recent investments in sales and marketing, and the strong continuity of our partnerships has allowed us to represent the best in class services in the industry. We are proud to extend our relationship with Nielsen and look forward to the future together."

Nielsen's general manager of music, Erin Crawford, called Westwood One "an ideal collaborator for us as we continue to develop new innovative tools for a dynamic music industry. It is a testament to our commitment to quality services and insights and we couldn't be prouder."
