Robert F.X. Sillerman rings the NASDAQ closing bell at NASDAQ MarketSite on Oct. 9, 2013 in New York City.

SFX Entertainment could be leaving the Nasda. Founder Robert Sillerman has made an offer, since accepted by the board of directors, to buy the roughly 63 percent of the company he doesn't already own. It could be a steal. Although the company has posted weak earnings since its IPO in late 2013, SFX owns popular brands -- Tomorrowland, Stereosonic, Electric Zoo -- as well as nightclubs and an EDM music store and streaming service, Beatport. With no signs of EDM slowing down, Sillerman can assemble the pieces without pressure from analysts and investors.
