Real estate developer David R. Weinreb got to show off more than his business sense Wednesday night during a duet with Grammy nominated singer Vanessa Williams. The Howard Hughes Corp. CEO appeared at ease as he sang jazz standard "On a Clear Day" at a party hosted in his honor by Boys & Girls Harbor in New York City, where -- who knows? -- maybe he impressed music industry veteran Lyor Cohen, who was also in attendance.
Watch the performance -- which Williams was clearly winging -- below.
On its website, Boys & Girls Harbor touts itself as a leader in "arts infused education" that provides ways to "foster social and emotional health, academic success, and college/career readiness via exposure to the performing arts." Weinreb was being honored at the organization's "2015 Salute to Achievement," which had ticket prices ranging from $1,000 to $100,000 and was held at the Plaza Hotel. The event also featured a performance by Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and other attendees included architect Frank Gehry, Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and film producer Steven Tisch.
