SoundExchange Adds Industry Vets to Executive Team

SoundExchange has made a pair of new hires at the executive level. The performance rights organization announced on Tuesday that Mark Eisenberg is the new senior vice president of strategic initiatives and Jacqueline Peterson is svp of communications.

In his new role, Eisenberg will look ahead to creating new applications for SoundExchange's distribution platform and will work with licensees, labels and artists. Peterson will lead the company's internal and external communications, marketing and public relations efforts.

Eisenberg most recently served as the global head of content acquisition and strategy at MixRadio. Prior to that he spent more than 15 years as executive vice president for the global digital business group at Sony Music Entertainment. Peterson comes to SoundExchange from Live Nation Entertainment, where she served as the senior vice president of Corporate Communications. Previously she was a director at Caesars Entertainment Corporation.
