Foo Fighters Team With Citi for Select Presale on 'Sonic Highways' Tour

The North American leg of the Foo Fighters' recently announced 2015 Sonic Highways World Tour features a box office-only pre-order program called "Beat The Bots." But for three select dates, Citi will be offering cardholders an exclusive presale through its Private Pass program, beginning today (Dec. 2) at 10 a.m. for the upcoming shows at New York's Citi Field (July 16), Boston's Fenway Park (July 19) and Los Angeles' The Forum (Sept. 21.)

"With the release of their new album and this highly anticipated world tour, the Foo Fighters continue to reign as one of the biggest rock bands on the planet," Jennifer Breithaupt, Citi's svp of entertainment marketing, said in a statement. "We're excited to once again partner with the band and to offer our cardmembers early access to tickets."

Citi will also host a VIP Lounge for cardmembers at theJuly 16 Citi Field concert as well as the July 18 Fenway Park and September 16 Shoreline Amphitheater shows. MAC Presents and Live Nation brokered the deal with the Foo Fighters on behalf of Citi. More information is available at citiprivatepass.com.
