Samsung to Offer Google Play Music Service Free in Brazil

With several music streaming services already deeply entrenched in the Latin American marketplace, Google has partnered with Samsung to offer its Google Play Music service free of charge to Samsung users for an extended period of time.

The first offer was made available in Brazil last week and provides owners of the Samsung Galaxy S4, S5 and Galaxy Tab with a six-month free subscription from the moment of activation.

In addition, beginning Nov. 1, Samsung will also offer a three-month free subscription to Google Play Music to all users of its smartphone, tablets and its Level line of products.

The free six-month promotion will eventually be offered the 16 Latin countries that Google Play Music is already in: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
