Ryan Cabrera First Signing to Mitch Davis and Marco Liuzzo's Dynamite Music via Caroline

The platinum seller will release his first new music in more than a year through Caroline and Capitol Music Group.

Ryan Cabrera is the first artist signed to Dynamite Music, the new boutique label founded by Clive Davis' son Mitchell Davis and Marco Liuzzo in partnership with Caroline, the indie division of Universal Music Group's Capitol Music Group. This will represent the first new music released by the platinum-selling pop singer/ songwriter/musician since his single, "I See Love," in May 2013.

"Signing Ryan Cabrera is an exciting moment for Dynamite Music and Caroline," Davis says. "Ryan not only is well liked by many in the music and entertainment world, but I can add that he is a true artist and gem of a soul. The music we have been working on together shows amazing growth as an artist and most importantly is fantastic. Simply put, it is going to be a fun time bringing Ryan back to where he belongs... in front of his fans and winning over new ones."

"All at Caroline are thrilled to welcome Dynamite Music and Ryan Cabrera to the family," commented the label's president Dominic Pandiscia. "We look forward to partnering with Dynamite Music and Ryan in supporting his eagerly awaited new album. Ryan is an incredible creative force and Caroline will bring that same energy and creativity in helping to realize his vision."

Ron Fair, chief executive officer/evp for Virgin Records, added: "Mitchell Davis is a unique visionary and deeply-rooted music man. Choosing Ryan Cabrera as the first release for his new Dynamite/Caroline venture is a testament to his commitment to great songwriting and the global power of authentic talent in pop music. This is one to watch closely."

Said Ryan: "I’m extremely excited and proud to have such a brilliant team in Dynamite Music, Caroline and my management company, Lippman Entertainment. It's an honor to work with some of the best minds the music business has to offer. Believing in who you work with is something I value and I have enough experience now in the business to know how important teamwork is."

Cabrera is known for his pop hits "On the Way Down," "True" and "Shine On," among others. He will release a new single this summer, followed by an EP this fall and full-length album later this year. Ryan is working on the new music with such producer/songwriters as Justin Gray [Mariah Carey, Joss Stone, John Legend], DJ White Shadow aka Paul Blair, (Lady Gaga), Shelly Peiken [Christina Aguilera, Ed Sheeran, Celine Dion], Nathan Chapman [Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat], Andrew Fromm [Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Selena Gomez] and acclaimed mixer Tony Maserati [Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Pink, Lady Gaga, Jason Mraz], as well as collaborating with fellow musicians and friends, We the KIngs' Evan Ross and Travis Clark.

The Dallas native signed a record deal with Atlantic Records in 2001 and teamed up with Johnny Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls to co-produce his major label debut, "Take It All Away," in 2004. That album spawned the hits "On the Way Down," which reached No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "True," which hit No. 8 on the pop chart. Take it All Away sold over 500,000 copies in the U.S. and reached No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200 charts, selling over 67,000 copies in the first week.

The follow-up album, 2005's "You Stand Watching," included the hit singles "Shine On" and "40 Kinds of Sadness" — which hit No. 25 and No. 32 respectively on the Billboard pop chart. Ryan then scored his own show on MTV, "Score." HIs single "I Will Remember You," was used as the closing montage for the entire series of "Will and Grace." His fourth album, 2008’s "The Moon Under Water." In 2013, he released the digital single "I See Love," featured on the highest-viewed season finale of the ABC Family’s hit show, "The Vineyard."

Cabrera has continued touring, last year joining Tyler Hilton and Teddy Geiger on a co-headlining jaunt before hooking up with YouTube sensations Boyce Avenue for a sold-out U.K./Ireland tour. He recently signed to ICM  Partners for booking, where he'll be working with Scott Pang, Scott Mantel and Brandon Zmigrocki.

Cabrera currently curates a live music series, "Live from Ryan’s Living Room," organizing a lineup of some of today’s biggest artists to perform at his house and streaming the show online to fans worldwide via stageit.com. All proceeds raised from tickets purchases go directly to charity, with Ryan choosing a different cause every time. Past performers include We the Kings, Colbie Caillat, Lance Bass, Gavin DeGraw, Josh Kelley, Billy Ray Cyrus, Keaton Simons, Blake Lewis and Elliot Yamin, among many others. To date, Ryan has helped raise over $17,000 for his various charitable endeavors.
