EDM Power Players 2014: Vegas Bets Big on Electric Daisy Carnival - And Wins

The just-wrapped fourth edition of Las Vegas' Electric Daisy Carnival broke its own records as the world's largest dance festival, hosting a record 400,000 attendees who flew out to catch over 200 performers play 10 neon-lit stages across three nights in the desert. While not without controversy (two festival-related deaths had been reported at press time), the Insomniac-produced event is a big draw and moneymaker for the Vegas dance scene, with dozens of shows taking place across the Strip and first-time sponsors like 7 Up and Bud Light Platinum onboard. Billboard breaks down the estimated revenue from this year's epic dance party.

Total Economic Impact: $322.3 million

Attendees: 400,000
