Billboard Hot 100: Is 'Problem' Set to Dethrone 'Fancy'?

Cover girl Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" maintains its hold on the Billboard Hot 100's top spot, but it might have a "Problem," thanks to Ariana Grande. "Fancy" (featuring Charli XCX) spends a second week at No. 1, and Grande's "Problem" (featuring Azalea) bullets at No. 2. It's another historic week for Azalea: No act has charted two debut Hot 100 hits at Nos. 1 and 2 at the same time since 1964, when The Beatles achieved that feat with "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "She Loves You."

"Fancy" and "Problem" seem poised to spar for the title of summer's top song. Yes, "Fancy" is still No. 1, but "Problem" nabs both Airplay and Streaming Gainer honors, surging by 29 percent in radio audience and 25 percent in streams, according to Nielsen BDS.

Azalea and Grande aren't the only acts shaking up the top 10. Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz vaults 8-6 with its introductory hit, "Am I Wrong"; Canadian reggae-pop act Magic lands a debut top 10 with "Rude" (see sidebar, page 7); and EDM star Calvin Harris' "Summer" heats up with a 12-9 jump.
