EDMbiz Announces First Wave of Panelists, Speakers Including Hardwell, Tom Windish, More (Exclusive)

EDMbiz Conference & Expo today announced the first wave of speakers and panelists to appear at the annual industry event’s third edition this June.

Above & Beyond and Hardwell have been confirmed to deliver keynote artist addresses, while journalist Bob Lefsetz will be the center of  a “Special Conversation” event. This year’s conference will feature a “#20Somethings” panel on rising music executives curated by Krewella’s manager Jake Udell, a new EDM consumer report entitled “Engaging the Electronic Music Listener” from Nielsen’s Head of Branded Music Entertainment Tatiana Oliveira Simonian, and the third annual EDMbiz artist panel.

Other industry-interest panels include a “The 6.2 Billion Dollar Business: Does Size Matter?” panel on mergers and acquisitions, a “Meet The Windish Agency” panel on talent representation and booking and a “State of the Label: The Art of Selling Music” panel focusing on today’s record business.

The three-day EDMbiz conference is set to take place at The Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas from June 17 - June 19. KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley will return to host the event for the third year.
