Gary Haber, an entertainment industry business manager and CPA who divided his time between Los Angeles and Nashville died April 7 at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. He was 68.
Founder and president of the Nashville Screenwriters Conference and part-owner and CFO of Nashville hot spot Music City Tippler, Haber formed his Haber Corp. CPA firm in Encino, CA, in 1977. When his client list grew to include a substantial number of country artists, Haber opened a branch in Nashville in 1990.
The company expanded again in 2000 by joining forces with Mark Robertson to open Haber & Robertson International, LLC, in Paris.
