With seven weeks atop the chart, "Frozen" is tied with Taylor Swift's "Red" for the longest run atop the list since "21." Swift's album logged seven nonconsecutive frames atop the list between the charts dated Nov. 10, 2012 and Jan. 12, 2013.
More on the "Frozen" soundtrack:
Aiming for a No. 2 entry next week is Shakira's self-titled album, with around 80,000. While Johnny Cash's new from-the-vaults album "Out Among the Stars" could debut at No. 3 with between 45,000 and 50,000.
For Shakira, if her latest album starts at No. 2, it will mark her highest charting set, surpassing the No. 3 peak of 2001's "Laundry Service." As for Cash, "Out Among the Stars" will secure the country legend -- who died in 2003 -- his sixth top 10 album.
Rock band Memphis May Fire is also eyeing the top five, as its new "Unconditional" could sell around 30,000. It will mark the highest charting album and best sales week yet for the Rise Records act, which went as high as No. 16 in 2012 with "Challenger."
Other possible top 10 entries next week look to be Kari Jobe's "Majestic" (20,000-ish), Erica Campbell's "Help" (20,000) and Barry Manilow's "Night Songs" (20,000).
On SoundScan's Building chart (below), "Frozen" is No. 1, followed Shakira, Cash and Memphis May Fire, respectively, at Nos. 2-4. The Building tally is a precursor to the final Billboard 200 ranking -- reflecting the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan's tracking week as reported by six major merchants.
As for the rest of the top 10, YG's "My Krazy Life" is No. 5, Campbell is No. 6, and the "Glee" cast's "Celebrating 100 Episodes" album is No. 7. The "Glee" set is not expected to finish in the top 10 for the week.
Pharrell Williams' "G I R L" is No. 8 on the Building Chart, followed by Jobe at No. 9 and Lorde's "Pure Heroine" at No. 10.
