Robbie Lear Appointed GM for WMG Artist Service Co. Get In Latin America

Robbie Lear, the former Managing director of EMI Mexico, has been appointed GM of Get In Latin America, the Warner Music Group-owned artist-service company.

Lear will be based out of Mexico reporting directly to Iñigo Zabala, president of Warner Music Latin America.

In his new role, Lear will oversee Get In’s artist management, live production, touring promotion and brand partnership operations. The company books concerts in Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Peru and represents a roster of Warner acts that includes Beto Cuevas, Carlos Baute, Marco di Mauro, Sandoval, Sergio Dalma, and Alex Ubago, among others.

“I am passionate about the live concert business—there’s nothing like an exhilarating live show—and it is a tremendous honor to continue doing what I love with the extremely talented Get In Latin America team,” said Lear in a statement.

A two-decade veteran of the music industry, Lear was SVP for Universal Music Mexico prior to joining EMI.

“Lear is well-regarded throughout the Latin American music industry for his ability to catapult both new and established artists to new heights with well-executed performance schedules,” said Zabala. “He joins a growing team of experts that provide a network of first-class services to artists around the world.”

Get In was created in 2009 as an artist service company that would serve Warner’s Latin acts. The company was previously headed by Jose Luis Cornejo.
