Ruthless Returns To Sony's RED

Rap label moves back to indie operation

Rap label Ruthless Records has moved back from Sony Music Distribution to Sony's indie operation RED Distribution. Ruthless, founded by the late rapper Eazy-E, was previously handled by RED from 1993-98. The label switched to Sony Music Distribution when Epic took over administration of its releases in 1998.

RED president Ken Antonelli was unavailable for comment.
