Los Angeles-based UrbanWorks Entertainment is gearing up for a large-scale Black History Month promotion next month. Key titles include "D.L. Hughley Live," "Dave Chappelle: Killin' Them Softly" and "Born to Ball."

The home-video distributor is launching a retail positioning campaign as well as TV, radio and print promotions to support its slate of urban-oriented dramas, comedy concerts, sports releases and animated features. UrbanWorks' efforts will include an online essay contest, giveaways and contests through national TV and radio programs and extensive advertising.
