Artemis Records has inked a licensing deal for the U.S. and Japan for the hot dance track "Straight Ahead" by Tube & Berger Featuring Chrissie Hynde. The 4-year-old track, licensed from Germany's King Brain Music, has been revisited by producer King Brain, who brought in the Pretenders front woman to lay down new vocals.

Sony U.K. imprint Direction released the funk-fueled electro-house jam Jan. 26. The single hits U.S. stores on Feb. 24.

In addition to Artemis and Sony, "Straight Ahead" has been licensed to Ministry of Sound (for Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Australia and New Zealand); Blanco y Negro (Spain); Time (Italy); and C My Music (Greece).
