RealNetworks Introduces Pre-paid Cards

RealNetworks is getting into the pre-paid card business. In an effort to drive use of its subscription service among consumers who do not have credit cards, the company is selling RealRhapsody-branded

RealNetworks is getting into the pre-paid card business.

In an effort to drive use of its subscription service among consumers who do not have credit cards, the company is selling RealRhapsody-branded cards at 7-Eleven stores throughout the U.S.

Real is offering the cards through an alliance with AT&T PrePaid Web Cents -- a pre-paid card service from AT&T.

The RealRhapsody cards cost $14.95 and can be redeemed for 15 burnable tracks and a month of free access to the Rhapsody on-demand streaming service.
