Koch Records Names Two Key Executives

Bill Crowley, co-founder of musicmaker.com, has joined New York-based Koch Records as VP of special markets, reporting to president Bob Frank.

Bill Crowley, co-founder of musicmaker.com, has joined New York-based Koch Records as VP of special markets, reporting to president Bob Frank. Crowley's experience includes business-development, sales, marketing and direct-response television positions at BMG, Warner Music Group and PolyGram. At Koch, he will oversee a new compilation program, in addition to licensing, premiums and audiophile activities.

In other news, Giovanna Melchiorre has joined Koch as senior director of media relations, reporting to executive VP/GM Alan Grunblatt. In addition to a stint as an independent music publicist, she has held posts in media relations at both Mammoth Records and Virgin Records.
