Songwriter, Producer Steve Duboff Dies At 62

Steve Duboff, singer/songwriter, producer and manager, died Feb. 28 in Malibu, Calif. He was 62.

Steve Duboff, singer/songwriter, producer and manager, died Feb. 28 in Malibu, Calif. He was 62.

Duboff is best known for co-writing with Artie Kornfeld '60s hits by the Cowsills ("The Rain, the Park and Other Things," "We Can Fly") and Crispian St. Peters ("The Pied Piper"). Duboff also left his songwriting mark on work popularized by Ringo Starr, the Turtles and the Monkees.

He is survived by his mother, two nieces, a great-niece, a great-nephew and two ex-wives.
