Napster's Gorog to Deliver Dublin Keynote

Event will discuss industry opportunities.

Napster chairman CEO Chris Gorog will deliver the keynote speech for the "Creative Financing and Music" seminar April 20 in Dublin. He will use the platform to address government officials and business leaders about how to overcome investor wariness of the notoriously unpredictable music business.

Gorog recently announced that Roxio-owned Napster will launch a U.K. version of its popular download service by summer.

The one-day event at Chief O'Neill's Hotel is being organized on behalf of the Irish government with the support of the European Commission as part of Ireland's tenure of the European Union presidency.

Irish arts, sport and tourism minister John O'Donoghue, Irish broadcaster David McWilliams and European Commission director general for education and culture Nikolaus van der Pas will be among the participants.
