Koch Claims Top Three On Indie Albums Chart

Hung, Master P and Sugarcult fuel distributor's feat.

KOCH Entertainment Distribution has captured the top three positions on the Billboard Independent Album Chart for the first time in the company's history.

Sister company Koch Records scored the No. 1 spot for the second week in a row with William Hung's debut, "Inspiration." The album has sold almost 25,000 units in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Artemis, which is distributed by KED, landed the No. 2 spot with Sugarcult's "Palm Trees and Power Lines," while Master P's "Good Side/Bad Side," also on KOCH Records, ranked No. 3.

"It's good to see that our plan is finally beginning to work after 18 years," quips Koch Entertainment CEO Michael Koch.
