Former Universal Vets Launch Marketing Firm

Clients include Relm and Diana Anaid.

Former Universal Music Publishing (UMPG) executives Rebekah Alperin, Doris "Teddi" Tyler and Xuan Tran have formed a new entertainment marketing, publicity, new media and management company.

Alperin Tyler Tran will be based in Los Angeles with a satellite office in Sydney. The company's inaugural clients include hip-hop artist Relm, Australian music and sports firm On Entertainment, new rock artist Diana Anaid and fashion designer Richard Tyler.

Alperin, who served as head of UMPG's marketing and communications department, left her post in February. Tyler, former manager of special projects/office of the president, exited UMPG the following month. Tran -- who most recently was VP of marketing for Boston Medical Group, was UMPG's manager of marketing and new media until March.

The company will also consult with K-tel International on A&R, music packages and TV mail-order campaigns.
