Best Buy Canada has set a June 12 launch date for an á la carte online digital-music store, Bonfire.

Best Buy Canada has set a June 12 launch date for an á la carte online digital-music store, Bonfire.

The service will sell most tracks for 99 cents Canadian (72 cents) and full albums for $9.99 Canadian ($7.30).

Best Buy Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of Best Buy Co. in the United States, operates 19 outlets, as well as the Future Shop chain, which has 104 stores in Canada.
