Marvel Fills Key Home-Video Post

Eric Rollman joins as senior VP.

Marvel Enterprises has named Eric Rollman its new senior VP of home entertainment and TV production for the Marvel Studios division.

Rollman is the former president of Fox Family/Saban Productions. He most recently launched his own independent production company, Rollman Entertainment.

At Marvel, Rollman will oversee the company's commitment to home video and will handle all video development and production. His first project will be the 2006 release of "The Avengers," a made-for-DVD animated feature that will be jointly developed, produced and distributed with Lions Gate Entertainment.

Marvel and Lions Gate joined forces in June, announcing that the companies will work on eight direct-to-DVD animated titles based on Marvel characters.

Rollman will report to David Maisel, president/COO of Marvel Studios, and will be based in New York.
