Pub exec to report to L.A. Reid.

HITCO Music Publishing has appointed Shawn "Tubby" Holiday as VP/GM.

Holiday will divide his time between Atlanta, New York and HITCO's new office in Los Angeles, which is located at the premises of the company's joint-venture partner, Windswept Holdings. He will report to L.A. Reid, co-founder of HITCO and chairman of Island Def Jam, while working closely with Evan Medow, CEO of Windswept.

Holiday joins HITCO from EMI Music Publishing, where he has been a creative manager since 2002. Prior to that, he worked in promotion at Bad Boy Records.

HITCO's songwriter roster includes Beyonce, Sean Garrett and J-Que (co-writers on Usher's "Yeah"), Tab, Carl-Mo (co-producer of OutKast's "The Way You Move") and Pooh-Bear (co-writer of 112's "Peaches 'N Cream").
