MTV Network's college channel, mtvU, has named Ross Martin as VP of programming.
Martin joins mtvU, a 24-hour network that broadcasts to more than 700 U.S. colleges, after launching film/TV production company Plant Film. He has also worked in production/development at Nerve.com and at Spike Lee's 40 Acres & A Mule Filmworks.
Based in New York, Martin reports to mtvU GM Stephen Friedman.
