Anastacia's debut album "Not That Kind" (Epic) racked up four million European shipments during August, according to the IFPI's latest platinum Europe certifications. Released in 2000, "Not That Kind" is one of five albums honored during the month with platinum Europe status, which recognizes shipments of at least one million units.

Avril Lavigne's sophomore set "Under My Skin" (Arista), Keane's debut "Hopes & Fears" (Island), Maroon 5's "Songs About Jane" (J/BMG) and Scisssor Sisters' (Polydor) eponymous album each went platinum in August.
