Jeremy Tepper To Manage Sirius Channel

Industry vet joins Outlaw Country.

Jeremy Tepper, founder of the independent country label Diesel Only Records, has been named format manager for Sirius Satellite Radio's Outlaw Country channel. He previously held A&R and marketing positions for CDuctive and eMusic.com. Tepper is also a journalist, having previously served as editor of The Journal of Country Music and as a country music critic for Tower Records' Pulse! magazine.

He has been a Sirius air personality since 2001, hosting programs on the Roadhouse and Outlaw Country channels. He continues to host the 6 a.m. to noon shift on Outlaw Country using the airname DJ RigRocker.

The Outlaw Country channel was created by musician/actor Steven Van Zandt, who remains its executive producer. The format mixes music by country and Americana artists such as Waylon Jennings, Dale Watson, Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash and Lucinda Williams with rockers Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and the Band.
