EMI Music U.K. aims to step up its e-mail marketing activities through the appointment of Shai Eilon to the new role of manager of customer relationship management.

EMI Music U.K. aims to step up its e-mail marketing activities through the appointment of Shai Eilon to the new role of manager of customer relationship management.

In his new, London-based role, Eilon will develop and implement an e-mail customer-relationship marketing program with the goal of driving additional revenue. Eilon reports to EMI Music U.K. head of consumer and market analysis Rachel Stones.

Prior to joining EMI, Eilon was e-mail marketing manager at Amazon.co.uk; before that, he was responsible for Ticketmaster's offline and online direct marketing activities.

All digital activities of EMI Music U.K. and its individual labels come under the Digital Media division, which is headed by Danny Van Emden.
