EMI Music Publishing Italy managing director Paolo Corsi has been appointed president of the Italian publishers association Federazione Editori Musicali (FEM).
EMI Music Publishing Italy managing director Paolo Corsi has been appointed president of Italian publishers' association Federazione Editori Musicali. He succeeds BMG Music Publishing Group Italy managing director Tino Cennamo, who was recently elected to the board of collecting society SIAE.
"I have the full support of EMI Publishing, and it's important for the association, within SIAE, that we continue to play a strong role that will benefit all of us," says Corsi in a statement.
Corsi was recruited to the Milan-based EMI affiliate in October from BMG Music Publishing Italy. Corsi began his career in 1983 as copyright and royalty manager at Edizioni Musicali La Voce del Padrone, then the publishing division of EMI.
