Inpop Ups Poznanski To GM

Former marketing director replaces Steve Ford.

Following Steve Ford's departure to head a new INO Records imprint, Inpop Records has named marketing director Rob Poznanski as the label's new GM.

Poznanski joined the Inpop staff last March. Previously, he was at Essential Records, where he worked with Third Day, Jars of Clay, Caedmon's Call, Bebo Norman and others. He also put in a stint in national promotion at Sparrow Records, working with such acts as Switchfoot, Delirious and the Newsboys. Peter Furler, Newsboys lead vocalist, owns Inpop with manager Wes Campbell.

Additionally, the label has upped Laura Wahl from marketing manager to marketing director. Former CCM Update editor Lizza Connor joins the label as publicity manager, and Ryan Longnecker joins Inpop in the newly created position of regional marketing coordinator.

In other changes, Inpop radio promoter Nate Yetton and radio/marketing coordinator Rachel Beasley both resigned from the label. Promotion duties are currently being handled by independents.
