Exec to launch music initiatives.
Clear Channel Entertainment Television has promoted Dennis Spencer to senior VP/managing director of international distribution and programming. He was VP/managing director of those functions.
Based at CCETV's New York headquarters, Spencer continues to report to president Joe Townley.
Spencer's new responsibilities include working to expand CCETV's international initiatives beyond sports to music and entertainment. New ventures include Def on Demand and Trevor Horn Presents.
Spencer previously served as executive VP of ProServ Television, which in 1997 was acquired by the Marquee Group, which was purchased in 2000 by Clear Channel.
