Pitbull Inks BMG Pub Deal

TVT rapper plans Spanish set.

BMG Music Publishing's Miami office has signed Pitbull. The deal, the first major publishing agreement for the Cuban/American rapper, covers his debut album, "M.I.A.M.I." (Diaz Brothers/TVT), which peaked at No. 14 on The Billboard 200, as well as songs used for the film "Too Fast, Too Furious."

Rafael Artero, VP of BMG Music Publishing U.S. Latin, says Pitbull is planning a Spanish-language album.

The BMG Publishing Latin roster also includes singer/songwriter Serralde and guitarist Sergio Vallín from Mexican rock group Maná.
