Top journalists from Billboard, Rolling Stone and USA Today will be featured Thursday (March 10) in a discussion of music-industry press coverage presented in New York by the National Assn. of Record Industry Professionals.
Billboard co-executive editor Ken Schlager, Rolling Stone associate editor Bill Werde and USA Today critic/reporter Elysa Gardner will join in the session at the Down Town Association, 60 Pine St. in Manhattan.
NARIP president Tess Taylor will moderate the discussion, which will examine the relationship between record-company press departments and the media, among other topics.
