Viecelli, Kadvan Open New Management Firm

The Billions Corporation president David Viecelli and Kadvan Entertainment owner Alex Kadvan have announced the formation of Lever and Beam, a new artist management firm based in New York City.

Viecelli and Kadvan will serve as senior partners at Lever and Beam, which manages Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, St. Vincent, Southern Culture on the Skids, Antibalas, Budos Band and Naomi Shelton & the Gospel Queens.

Lever and Beam's staff includes administrative manager Todd Harty and administrative assistant Marc de Neree. Harty most recently served as operations manager of Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and Presentations, and de Neree previously worked at Kadvan Entertainment.

Viecelli founded Chicago-based independent booking agency Billions Corporation, which represents such artists as Arcade Fire, Death Cab For Cutie, Fleet Foxes, Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, among others. Viecelli has also served as manger for Southern Culture on the Skids since 1995.

Kadvan founded New York-based management firm Kadvan Entertainment in 2002. Over the past eight years, Kadvan has also worked to connect contract musicians to concert productions and studio sessions throughout New York.
